Administrative Search - Mississippi Bend Area Education Agency

Administrative Search

The successful recruitment and selection of a qualified Administrator is clearly one of the most important decisions any board will be required to make. We understand the complexity of this task, and the long-term implications for your district. As an organization dedicated to helping your district maximize the potential of all your students, we have a strong incentive to do everything possible to assist you with this crucial task.

To assist you in this process, the Mississippi Bend Area Education Agency has designed a Search Process that provides an opportunity for meaningful staff and community input while appropriately leaving for the Board of Education the opportunity to make the final decision. Our process is uniquely designed to assure the acceptance of the Board's final selection which will maximize the new administrator's potential for success from both a transitional and long term perspective.

Since Area nine schools have chosen not to offer search services as a basic service supported by flow-through dollars, it is necessary that we charge a small fee to recover actual costs associated with this service. However, since our basic infrastructure is supported by flow through dollars, we are able to provide the services at a much lower cost than you might expect. To meet your specific needs, we have created a process and rate structure which allows each Board to select and pay for only those services they identify as essential to their particular district.

We will be happy to meet with you to review these services and answer any questions at your request.
