Program Description:
The purposes of the AEA 9 Family and Consumer Sciences Content Area Teacher Network are to provide a communication apparatus for FCS teachers to address and solve problems in a common context; to support FCS teachers in their efforts to deliver high quality content; to increase student interest in Family & Consumer Sciences classes; and to increase student achievement in content areas by integrating literacy, mathematics and science content into FCS courses.
