Challenging Behaviors
Children with challenging behavior are supported by the Challenging Behavior Consultant. Services provided by the Challenging Behavior Consultant include, but are not limited to, professional development and consultation for instructional staff, consultation and support for families, functional behavior observation and assessment, and the creation of Behavior Interventions Plans specific to the needs of individual children. The Challenging Behavior Consultant also serves as a member of the Learning Supports Implementation Team and the Autism Support Team which provides direct support for instructional staff, children, and children.
