Thanks to the generosity of MBAEA employees through MBAEA Gives Back, we recently purchased and built a special tryke for Hayden through Mississippi Bend Trykes.
Hayden’s smile says it all! This marks the second tryke MBAEA staff have helped provide this school year through employee contributions, helping create opportunities for children to experience greater independence, mobility, and fun.
Thank you to everyone who contributes to MBAEA Gives Back and helps make moments like this possible.

April is National Internship Awareness Month, and we’re proud to recognize our School Psychologist Interns! These individuals are doing meaningful, real-world work, supporting students, collaborating with school teams, and contributing to services that directly impact learning and well-being across our region. Their work requires professionalism, care, and a strong commitment to students, and they show up with all three. We’re grateful for the role they play in our system today and for the future they represent in our schools.

MBAEA hosted instructional coaches from Muscatine, Maquoketa, Davenport, and Pleasant Valley for a professional learning session focused on coaching practice.
Coaches engaged in networking and learning around utilizing tools to strengthen coaching interactions and refine coaching language, supporting professional growth and building connections.
The session also included sharing tools that have been impactful in their work, along with learning grounded in The Coaching Habit by Michael Bungay Stanier.
